Castle Archdale Forest is part of the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark. Castle Archdale Forest is a 520 hectare mixed broadleaved and coniferous lowland forest located on the eastern shores of Lower Lough Erne. It features a scenic 0.5-mile circular Woodland Riverside Walk. The forest is a richly varied one in terms of views and features and includes ruined Castles, WWII docks & buildings, ancient woodland and views over Lower Lough Erne to White Island, Davy`s Island and further a field.
The car park is located about four miles from Lisnarrick, off the B82 Enniskillen to Kesh Road, at the Aghinver junction. Take a left turn following the signs for Aghinver and Clareview Caravan Park, then take another immediate left, continuing to follow the signs for Old Castle Archdale. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
