Best Bark was born out of frustration—our own frustration as dog parents.
Like many, we wanted to bring our dog Vito along on our adventures, whether for a coffee, a weekend getaway, or a meal with friends. But finding truly dog-friendly places was never as easy as it should have been.
We’d spend ages searching, only to come across outdated blogs with half-useful information. Then, we’d have to dig through their socials and websites, hoping to find some mention of dogs—only to be left guessing. A process that took far longer than it should.
And even when we did find a place, we were left wondering: What does “dog-friendly” really mean?
- Are dogs genuinely welcome inside, or just tolerated on a freezing outdoor patio?
- Will my pup get a warm welcome, or just a disapproving glance from staff?
