A traditional Victorian pub serving hearty food and drawing a lively crowd. Dogs are welcome at only certain tables, usually in the bar area away from the main dining space. It’s worth calling ahead or asking staff when you arrive, and they’ll do their best to fit you in if there’s room. Pups must be on a lead and under control.
While there’s no beer garden, there is a small pavement seating area that’s perfect for good-weather visits. Inside, expect a cosy, old-school pub feel, with walls lined in memorabilia including a Derry Girls mural and a buzz from regular live music and quiz nights. Just keep in mind it can get crowded during peak dining hours, so quieter times are a better bet if you’re bringing your dog.
