Clare Glen

Clare Glen is a breathtaking, steep-sided wooded ravine located just outside Tandragee in County Armagh. Spanning along the banks of the beautiful River Cusher, this lush glen is a designated Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) due to its rare, ancient hazel and oak woodland. The glen is famous for its vibrant, clay-rich forest floor which bursts into a spectacular blanket of bluebells, wild garlic, and wood anemones during the spring months. With the gentle roar of the river, cascading mini-waterfalls, and rustic wooden footbridges connecting the banks, Clare Glen offers a deeply atmospheric and highly sensory river walk that feels miles away from the modern world.
