Description
Bellinter House is an 18th century Georgian mansion set within 12 acres of Boyne Valley countryside, about 30 minutes from Dublin city centre and five minutes from the M3. Designed by architect Richard Castle around 1750, it operates today as a 35-room luxury boutique hotel and spa on the south bank of the River Boyne, within sight of the Hill of Tara.
Dogs are accommodated in the Stable Rooms, duplex units with wooden beams, skylights, and stable doors opening directly onto the courtyard and are welcome across all outdoor areas of the property, as well as in The Bar and Library indoors. With sweeping lawns, ancient trees, and the River Boyne on the doorstep, it is one of the more substantial dog-friendly country house stays within easy reach of Dublin.
There is an additional fee of โฌ20 for the first night and โฌ10 for each subsequent night per dog. A refundable deposit of โฌ200 is required for overnight guests with dogs. The deposit will be returned upon check-out, provided there is no damage to the property.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, dogs are ONLY welcomed with open paws in the following areas:
- Outside grounds
- The Library
- The Bar
- The Stables
- The Bellinter Spa Cafรฉ (outside area only)
