Dungannon Park is a 70-acre oasis centred around a serene, stream-fed lake, located just 2 miles from Dungannon town center. The park provides a network of pretty pathways, tennis courts, a children's play area, and designated barbecue sites. You can also enjoy treasure and orienteering trails, as well as modern amenities to cater to a variety of needs.
There's also a new dog park has been launched at Dungannon Park, dedicated to dog owners and their pets for off lead exercise. The pilot initiative suggested by Mid Ulster District Councilโs Development Committee, was delivered by staff on the ground at Dungannon Park.
The park features two enclosures, one for small dogs weighing under 13.5kg, and one for large dogs weighing over 13.5kg. Dogs are permitted off lead in both enclosures with agility stye equipment for dogs to enjoy. For more information about the dog park, visit here.ย
