The Morning Star in Belfast is dog friendly during the week, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy food or a drink with your dog beside you. Dogs must be kept on a lead, and the staff are genuinely welcoming.
At weekends, however, the pub becomes much busier. Because of the crowds, they don’t consider it a suitable environment for dogs and may turn people away if they arrive with one. The decision is based entirely on the welfare of the dog and maintaining a safe, calm atmosphere.
