Revolución de Cuba brings a slice of Havana to Belfast with vibrant Latin-style décor, cocktails, tapas and live music, and it welcomes dog owners to join the fun. If you bring your dog, make sure they’re on a lead and well-behaved, that way you can enjoy your meal or drink together in comfort.
That said, the venue gets lively, especially on weekend evenings. Because of the crowds, noise and late-night atmosphere, it might not be the best time for a dog to join in. For a calmer, more pet-friendly visit, weekday afternoons or early evenings tend to work best.
We showed up for a dinner and were told that the manager said dogs weren’t allowed. I pulled up the best bark listing to show that it was. After speaking to the manager it turns out that dogs are not allowed in the evenings due to noise but that wasn’t made clear that it was an absolute no in the evenings. Thankfully my dog is almost entirely deaf so they made an exception and he slept the entire night despite any noise. I do think people should be more aware of this if planning to go for dinner as the description makes it seem like a recommendation rather than a hard no.
