Ward Park, located in the heart of Bangor, County Down, spans 37 acres and offers a variety of recreational facilities, including a children's playground, all-weather hockey pitches, a cricket pitch, bowling greens, a putting green, and tennis courts. The park features a series of small lakes that serve as a wildfowl sanctuary, housing many interesting specimens, as well as dry pens containing a large variety of exotic birds. A prominent war memorial is also situated within the park. Dogs must be on a lead when visiting.
