Jailhouse

The Jailhouse is a character-filled, dog-friendly bar tucked away in Joy’s Entry in Belfast city centre. Set in a restored historic building, it has exposed brickwork, original features and a lively atmosphere, with food, cocktails and regular live music.

Dogs are welcome inside, making it a handy spot to stop for a drink or bite to eat while exploring Belfast with your dog.

Good to know: The Jailhouse follows the Clover Group dog policy, which recommends avoiding busy evenings after 8pm, as well as Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. Dogs must be kept on leads, and staff can advise on designated dog-friendly areas. Quieter daytime visits are recommended.
