Big Dog Forest is a sprawling, atmospheric upland forest located in the scenic hills of West Fermanagh. The forest takes its name from the two distinctive hills, Big Dog and Little Dog, which dominate the landscape. According to local folklore, these hills were formed when the legendary giant Fionn MacCumhaill’s favourite hounds were turned to stone. The "Big Dog Walk" is a 2.5-mile (4km) looped trail that offers a true "getaway" experience for dogs and their owners.
