Kiltonga Nature Reserve is an easy, relaxed place to walk your dog, with a clear lakeside path that’s ideal for steady strolls and plenty of sniffing. The loop around the water brings you close to the resident swans, mallards, little grebes, moorhens, and coots, so there’s always something for your dog to watch as you go. There’s a simple observation point along the route where you can pause and take in the wildlife before continuing your walk.
On-site parking makes visits straightforward, and the open layout means you can enjoy a peaceful outing without feeling crowded.
Kiltonga was also the first site in the UK to receive BT Millennium Miles status, recognising it as a safe and enjoyable route for all visitors, including four-legged ones.
