‘The Rocks’ is a multi-award winning, dog friendly Bed and Breakfast. It is situated in an idyllic country setting and offers the perfect central base for exploring all of Northern Irelands enchanting tourist locations within an easy 90 minute drive!
Just a 10 minute drive from Belfast International Airport, Crumlin and Templepatrick, 15 minutes from Antrim and 25 minutes from Belfast City, The Rocks is nestled in the beautiful countryside in 15 acres, a little off the beaten track we are away from airport and road noise, assuring you a peaceful night’s sleep.
Wake up refreshed to our delicious home cooked breakfasts, made with fresh local produce and eggs from happy hens. We do our best to cater for all, offering a varied menu including options for vegetarians and vegans. We also cater for guests with food allergies or intolerances.
We offer 5 comfortable bedrooms, 2 with En-suite shower rooms, the family suite, comprising of 2 rooms opposite one another, sharing a shower room and finally a small double room with an external private bathroom across the hall.
We understand that your dog is part of the family so with this in mind, 3 of our rooms are dog friendly where you can chill with your dog after exploring some of the delightful walks on our doorstep including Divis and Black Mountain Trails, Cavehill Country Park and Crumlin Glen just 10 minutes away by car and Antrim Castle Gardens (which includes an enclosed dog park, where you can let your dog off the lead), Rea’s Wood, Randalstown forest just 15 minutes drive away to name a few!
There are a number of Dog friendly pubs/restaurants and cafés in the area including Fiddlers Inn, Top of the Town, The Boat House and The Rabbit Hotel all allow dogs inside in the bar area and serve lovely food and The Divis Coffee Barn, Dobbies Garden Centre and Rovers Coffee House are dog friendly cafés. If you don’t fancy eating out, you’re welcome to bring take away food back to our B&B, all we ask is that you eat it either in the guest garden or our Breakfast room (we can provide, crockery and cutlery) and of course your dog can come too!
All of our rooms have a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water. We also have fluffy bath sheets, complimentary guest toiletries, a hair dryer and hair straighteners.
So whether visiting the area on business or pleasure, enjoy wonderful hospitality and comfortable rooms in a quiet country setting.
