Description
Hi I’m Katy, a total dog lover! I run Katy's Bark & Breakfast - a little dog care business offering overnight dog boarding services in my own home (fully insured). I have my own dog Benny so it is crucial your dog/dogs are sociable to live with another dog to ensure enjoyment, comfort and safety of all dogs. I work with very small numbers, a max of 4 dogs at any one time including my own dog.

August 23, 2025 at 9:58 amWe contacted Katy a few weeks before travel and received quick reply where she kindly let me know everything I needed to know. Katy was happy to facilitate a meet and greet before we left our dog Obi. This went really well and Katy was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, answering all my queries. Our dog also got on really well with her own dog. All this made me feel extremely reassured that we had chosen the right place for obi to stay.
Katy also helped with collecting our dog as our plan to get him to her fell through at the last minute but Katy ensured it was no hassle. We received frequent videos and pictures while we were away of all obis adventures while he was there on his holidays and believe me when I say, he was having a ball going to various locations and being well looked after throughout. We will definitely be using Katy again when away as she is excellent with dogs and the entire experience from start to finish was professional and hassle free. Thanks Katy so much for looking after obi so amazingly well

January 24, 2026 at 11:55 amKatie took our two crazy Cocker Spaniels, Max & Buddy, at last minute as we were let down for a pet sitter before we jetted off to Disneyland. My two doggos had the best time with Katie and her beautiful dog Benny! They had their own little holiday never mind us! Katie loved and looked after them as if they were her own. I was able to go onto her insta page throughout our time away and see constant updates of the puppers playing, walks on the beach, snoozing and lots of doggy cuddles! Really put my mind at ease seeing them have the best time with Katie and Benny! I was worried they wouldn’t want to leave when we went to pick them up 🤣 honestly can’t thank Katie enough for taking care of them and providing the best stay, they both had a blast! If you need a home from home boarding, defo use Katie! She was so accommodating and had great attention to detail when it came to each dog 🙂 I was able to fill out a detailed form and jot down each dogs behaviours / quirks etc. Katie has a real passion for dogs and she is honestly just lovely! Will defo use Katie & Benny again and send the crazy two back whenever we need them minded again! 🩷
