The laid-back atmosphere, combined with live traditional music nights, makes Bertha’s a great spot to experience genuine Irish pub culture with your dog in town.

Tips for Dog Dining on the North Coast

Always keep your dog on leash at venues, and call ahead if you’re unsure about current pet policies (especially for restaurants with both indoor and outdoor sections). Many places listed will offer water bowls and maybe treats, but it’s polite to ask first. Weekends can be busy, so try off-peak times if your dog is nervous in crowds.

With the above spots on your itinerary, you and your pup can enjoy the North Coast’s famed hospitality together from beachside shacks to cozy pubs making every meal a “pawsitive” experience.
