CABÜ by the Lakes is a unique woodland retreat nestled in Killykeen Forest Park, Co. Cavan, overlooking the beautiful Lough Oughter. With stylish one, two and three-bedroom cabins surrounded by forest, it’s the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with nature. Guests can enjoy woodland walks, cycling, fishing, kayaking and relaxing at the outdoor nature spa, with plenty of opportunities to explore the peaceful lakeside surroundings.
Dog Policy:
CABÜ by the Lakes welcomes dogs in selected dog-friendly cabins, which must be booked in advance. Their site has plenty of walks for exploring with your pup, and dog-friendly cabins are equipped with things such as water bowls. Dogs must be kept on a lead, particularly because of the wildlife and farm animals around the site, and owners are asked to clean up after their dogs. Dogs cannot be left unattended in cabins, and guests are asked to keep them away from beds, rugs, blankets and kitchen utensils. There is also a dog wash at CABÜ House with warm water, soap, a dryer and towels for muddy or wet pups.
A small number of cabins can accommodate up to two dogs, with the stay needing to be agreed when booking and an additional charge applying.
