The Argory is a welcoming National Trust estate with plenty of space for dogs to explore. You can enjoy woodland trails, garden paths and riverside walks together, with dogs allowed throughout the grounds as long as they stay on a lead. There’s also a dedicated dog-exercise area down by the River Blackwater where dogs can enjoy some off-lead time in a safe, enclosed space.
Water bowls are available at the welcome area, café and stableyard, and the outdoor seating makes it easy to stop for a break without leaving your dog behind. While dogs can’t go inside the historic house, they’re welcome on short leads in the courtyard bookshop and outdoor café areas.
It’s a straightforward, relaxed day out for dog parents wanting a mix of walks and scenery.
Please check the website for up-to-date access times for each area.
