On Saturday night, the Best Bark team attended the NI Social Media Awards at the Europa Hotel in Belfast. It was an absolutely incredible evening celebrating creativity, community, and digital innovation across Northern Ireland.

To say we’re proud would be an understatement. When we launched Best Bark, our goal was never just to be a directory, we wanted to build a community that celebrates dog-friendly living while promoting responsible dog ownership across Northern Ireland.
Our Dog Safety Campaign was born from that same mission. We wanted to raise awareness about the importance of keeping dogs safe in public spaces, especially during summer months when accidents and heat-related risks can easily be overlooked. Seeing that campaign recognised on such a large stage means the world to us.
We’re delighted to share that Best Bark was awarded Runner-Up in the Most Impactful Campaign category, standing alongside some of the most inspiring campaigns in the country.
A huge thank you goes to our amazing community of dog parents, businesses, and ambassadors who continue to support what we do. Every share, every tag, and every kind message helps us grow and keep advocating for safer, happier adventures for dogs everywhere.
