Antrim Lough Shore

Situated on the shores of Lough Neagh, the Antrim Lough Shore Park is a popular destination for visitors and residents throughout the entire year.

The scenic pathway along the northern shore of Lough Neagh is located just outside Antrim town. It’s a popular spot for dog walkers, joggers, and families, and offers beautiful views across the lough, especially at sunset.

• The path is mostly flat and well-maintained — great for an easy stroll.
• It runs from Antrim Castle Gardens through Antrim Lough Shore Park, past Rea’s Wood, and connects to the Newtownabbey Way if you want a longer walk.
• There’s parking, The Boathouse café, picnic spots, and toilets at Antrim Lough Shore Park.
• Dogs are welcome but should be kept under control, especially near wildlife and wooded areas.
