Located just outside Belfast, Divis and the Black Mountain form part of the Belfast Hills and provide a scenic view for walkers and nature lovers. The area offers a variety of trails, with the Ridge Trail being a popular 4.2-mile (6.7 km) circular route, giving spectacular 180-degree views. From the summit, visitors can enjoy breath-taking sights of Belfast, the Antrim Plateau, the Mourne Mountains, and even Scotland on clear days. The terrain varies from grassy pathways to stony tracks, making it an engaging walk for all fitness levels. The area is managed by the National Trust, which helps preserve its unique landscapes and wildlife.
The best times to visit this trail are January through October.
We are open 24 hours every day. However hours may vary seasonally, for more updates visit The National Trust website.
